Indie Lit Con is a signing where all genres are accepted, taking place on Saturday 15th August 2026.

The Indie Pride Book Con is a signing hosted specifically for LGBTQ and Why Choose genres, taking place on Saturday 9th August 2025.

D. E. Bartley, originally from Cornwall, lives in North Wales with her husband, three feral kids, four cats and a budgie. To say her home can be like an episode of Fun House is an understatement; she’s convinced Pat Sharp is going to turn up one day.
She feels extremely lucky to be able to say she is a full-time author. After twenty years, she was able to leave healthcare to concentrate on her writing and has never looked back, especially after Covid. Getting to spend more time with her family has been amazing, and proves she made the right choice.
When Bartley isn’t writing, you can find her adding books to her growing hoard like the book dragon she is, or actually reading one of the 29,482 books on her ever-growing TBR pile.

Gemma Walker is an author and playwright. The Judge, the Jailer and the Thief is her first book. Sad Eyes on Happy Faces is her first play.
She lives in the West Midlands, England and likes to create stories centring around strong, female characters that are enthralling, fast-paced and emotionally driven that keep the reader hooked and eager to turn the page. They will always feature lesbian characters as she is an advocate for representation in stories that aren’t strictly about sexuality. The Judge, the Jailer and the Thief is an exciting heist thriller full of twists, turns and intrigue.
As well as writing she enjoys drawing and painting, making things, trips away by the beach, tai-chi, yoga, dancing, visiting castles, and learning about Plantagenet and Tudor history.

I don't write heroes or heroines, I write people with baggage, history and problems. My characters are flawed, they're messy, they make disastrous mistakes that are hard to come back from. My stories are not sweet or kind, they are dark and, at times, cruel. They deal with uncomfortable subjects and I do not apologise for it.

She also enjoys coffee and gossiping with her mum, playing or having hugs with her gorgeous nephew, who is the light of her life, and curling up on the sofa to watch a film with Mr Luna. Nicole is an author and screenwriter whose work blends myth, folklore, and fierce female protagonists. Writing under the pen name Charlotte Bedgood, her debut novel The Dawn of the Lightning Goddess launched a gripping five-book fantasy series steeped in ancient power and divine rebellion. The much-anticipated sequel, The Insurgence of the Cursed Prince, is set to be released soon.
She’s been writing stories since she was ten years old—sharing early work on Wattpad before taking a detour into filmmaking in her early twenties. As a screenwriter, Nicole has written or co-written a number of award-winning short films, including WanderLand (BAFTA-longlisted), 2K5, and Powerless. She is the writer of the feature Like Mother, currently in development with Mordecai Films, and co-writer of both Progeny (in development with Disauthority) and The Fawn (with Curiosity Junction), which she will also direct. Her screen work, known for its emotional intensity and visual boldness, feeds directly into her novels—giving them a vivid, cinematic scope.

C.N. Marie is a USA Today bestselling author who writes MF steamy, contemporary romance with a twist. She was born in Blackpool, Lancashire but has spent her adult life in her city of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Married with three children she has focused her previous years on looking after her children’s wellbeing.
Time management is a huge part of her life alongside her love for romance reading, the natural step next of becoming a blogger meant she could give back to the author community raising awareness of the wide range of availability in the indie romance sector.
When the voices wouldn’t leave her mind, she finally put pen to paper deciding to attempt to enter the world of writing, with guidance and support, the aim to publish became a reality. Writing in various genres you never know what you may expect from C.N. Marie.

D. E. Bartley lives in Wales, UK, with her husband, three feral boys, four cats and a budgie. To say her home is a madhouse would be an understatement, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
When she isn’t running around after her tribe or driving her husband up the wall, she can be found reading and hoarding books like a dragon.

D. E. Bartley lives in Wales, UK, with her husband, three feral boys, four cats and a budgie. To say her home is a madhouse would be an understatement, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
When she isn’t running around after her tribe or driving her husband up the wall, she can be found reading and hoarding books like a dragon.
Nothing is as important to her as time with her family, and she loves her trips home to Cornwall with them more than anything in the world. She loves to blast out loud music in the car, has a fetish for designer handbags and loves a Galaxy hot chocolate. She loves to read especially books
that involve a hot, over protective, arsehole alpha with tattoos. She primarily writes dark romantic suspense, and her stories tend to be chaos that
